About Good Mind Circles

Good Mind Circles is a peer-led community supporting those affected by gambling harm. Based in Kent, we bring together people in recovery, along with their loved ones and supporters, to reconnect, rebuild confidence, and move forward together.

We are more than just a support group,we are a community built on understanding, hope, and shared experience.

Founded by two friends who met through Gamblers Anonymous and found strength in connection, Good Mind Circles was created to offer a warm, non-judgemental space where everyone feels seen and heard. Both founders have walked their own recovery journeys and now give back by helping others take those same courageous steps forward.

Many services focus on immediate harm or short-term support. We believe recovery is not just about stopping gambling, it’s about rebuilding life.

That means getting out and about. Rebuilding confidence. Restoring routine. Finding joy in everyday moments. Creating real-world connection beyond meetings.

Our events are welcoming, informal, and pressure-free. You don’t have to share your story. You don’t have to explain yourself. You can simply show up.

Whether you’re taking your first step toward recovery or walking alongside someone who is, you’ll find open hearts, listening ears, and a safe space to just be yourself.

Together, we support each other through the ups and downs, recognise progress at every stage, and remind one another that recovery is possible.

As we grow, we aim to expand our events and reach more communities across the UK, creating more safe spaces for people to reconnect and rebuild.

Recovery is more than stopping. It’s rebuilding. And you don’t have to do it alone.
